COUNTER DRONE DEFEAT

Threat Management/C-UAS (Drone) Detection/Defeat

“defend mode” to prevent drones from entering the protected area. This impressive safeguard solution identifies, detects and defends defined areas from s-UASs without interfering in any way with other wireless, Bluetooth, cellular or RF/RC signal or device. When an s-UAS is detected, the system provides an automatic notification to the designated user’s stakeholders. The system is compact, robust, readily deployable, and can be seamlessly transferred between static, vehicle mobile and man-portable  configurations while continuing to monitor and protect.

Furthermore, the Prevenitas solution is designed to support automatic radio frequency monitoring, drone signal detection and alert reporting in support of human managed security systems. Additionally, the system will provide a fully automated detect and area defense against drone intrusion that provides reporting which reflects the automated actions of  the system.

This unique solution technology is based on radio frequency techniques found in both standard radio control and Wi-Fi forms using a baseline approach to utilize the same techniques used by drone controllers and drone downlink transmitter3s to detect drone and drone control transmitters. Prevenitas technology is specifically designed to comply with 18 USC 2511 – “Electronic Communications Privacy Act” in relation to sampling radio frequency spectrum data and does not use packet headers to identify drone signals or any other identifier of a drone transmitter or transmission that could uniquely identify a specific drone or controller. Instead, Prevenitas uses its proprietary drone transmission characteristics repository coupled to a “hunter algorithm” to identify drone specific transmissions within a radio frequency spectrum sample regardless of whether they originate from a drone controller or a drone downlink transmitter.

Those specific signals can then be stripped from the spectrum sample to support remote analysis and can also be used to drive the Prevenitas drone area defense capability. When the drone defense capability is triggered, Prevenitas creates a reactive, dynamically generated Geo-fence related to the drone signals identified for as long as the drone signals are detected.

Should the drone fly into the Geo-fence, it will initiate its designed and regulatory approved return-to-home or hover mode, fully retaining drone operation in the hands of the pilot while keeping the drone from passing through the Geo-fenced protected area. The Geo-fence only applies to the detected drone signals to ensure that no device or network is impacted , other than the specific signals being targeted. Geo-fencing is already used by DJI, the world’s largest drone manufacturer, as well as some other drone manufacturers to keep drones from entering some defined permanent Prohibited or Restricted Airspace.
